Here is the encore schedule.  Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on PE days.  Fridays will be a rotation that includes PE along with music or art.

This week in language arts, we will…
·       Write small moment stories stretching out a sequence of actions across several pages
·       Discuss several reading strategies
·       Discover new vocabulary through a weekly read aloud
·       Practice sorting words that will get us ready for the spelling program

This week in math, we will…
·       Read bar graphs
·       Use tally marks
·       Use data in graphs to solve problems
·       Solve problems of the day independently, then as a class
·       Participate in our math stations

In Science, we’ll learn about how matter changes with heat.
