Week of September 22nd
Istation –
We
are excited to have Istation available for all students again this
year. If you are new to OUES or did not have the opportunity to use
Istation last year, we encourage your child to take advantage of this
computer-adaptive reading program at home. Check your child’s folder
for a parent letter containing instructions for downloading Istation on your
home computer. In addition, Istation is now available as a free app
through the iTunes store. You will need to use the same login
information given in the parent letter when using the app.
Picture day is Sept. 25! SMILE!
IMPORTANT BUS INFORMATION!!!
- Is your child
going to ride another bus or go with a friend on a bus? This is
helpful information from Mrs. Walker. The bus drivers will not
permit anyone without the appropriate pass...
If
teachers receive a PARENT note or email wanting a child to ride another bus
(for a playdate, boy scout meeting, etc.) or a PARENT note or email about
getting off at another stop, those requests must be written and approved on the
proper transportation form. Bus drivers
cannot allow parent handwritten notes as permission slips.
Here is
the link for the transportation form:
If they
do not have a bus pass, they have to purchase the vouchers.
Here is
the link to purchase a bus pass:
If the
child does not have a bus pass and will be riding home on the bus, he/she will
need a bus voucher on the transportation form. Vouchers can be purchased in the front office or at
the Administration Building and are only sold in packs of 10 for $50.
The vouchers are good for this entire school year.
Here is the encore schedule.
Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on PE days. Fridays will be a rotation that includes PE
along with music or art.
