Week of September 15th
Istation –
We are excited to have Istation available for all students again this year.  If you are new to OUES or did not have the opportunity to use Istation last year, we encourage your child to take advantage of this computer-adaptive reading program at home.  Check your child’s folder for a parent letter containing instructions for downloading Istation on your home computer.  In addition, Istation is now available as a free app through the iTunes store.  You will need to use the same login information given in the parent letter when using the app.

If you have not sent in a set of headphones for your child, please do so ASAP.  We are already busy in computer lab.  The children need sound frequently during this time.  Thank you!

Here is the encore schedule.  Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on PE days.  Fridays will be a rotation that includes PE along with music or art.

·       Write stories that span 3 pages

·       Look for the same pattern in words as we read
·       Think about words we might see in the story before we even read the story

This week in math, we will…
