• make connections while reading
• discover new vocabulary through a weekly read aloud
• practice high frequency words for spelling
• practice using capitalization and punctuation on existing writings
• work on iStation

• use pictures and subtraction to compare
• subtract all or subtract zero
• take apart numbers
• solve word problems independently then go over as a class
• participate in math stations
• work on Reflex Math

This week in Social Studies we will...

• create family tress
• learn about the contributions of Martin Luther King Jr.
