This week in language arts, we will…
· Use labeled diagrams to show details
· Make connections while reading
· Discover new vocabulary through a weekly
read aloud
· Practice high frequency words for
spelling
· Practice using proper capitalization and
punctuation on paragraphs that have none.
· Work on IStation while in computer
lab. We encourage children to take
advantage of the program at home as well!
This week in math, we will…
· Use pictures and subtraction to
compare
· Subtract all or zero
· Take apart numbers
· Solve problems of the day
independently, then as a class
· Participate in our math stations
· Work on Reflex Math and First in Math
while in computer lab
In Social Studies, we’ll create
family trees. We’ll also learn about the
contributions of Martin Luther King Jr.
