Week of Feb. 2
What
an awesome program! Thank you to Mrs.
McArthur for leading our Journey into Outer Space!
|
The 100th day of school
will be Feb. 5 (Thursday). Your child is
invited to dress as a 100-year old! We
can’t wait to see who shows up! We’ll
also enjoy several activities in class.
Valentine’s
Day is right around the corner. Your teacher sent home a class list.
Please be sure to have a valentine for every child in the classroom.
Also, please be sure to have your child sign each card
so that each classmate will know whom to thank for the card.
Please
help your child decorate a box, a bag, or send in a purchased gift bag for your
child to put the valentines in.
You may have your child bring his/her valentines to school on Thursday, Feb. 12th or
Friday the 13th.
Your
child may attach or bring in a small candy treat also if you wish. Do not
send in peanuts or candy containing peanuts. You may also choose
to send in a pencil, bookmark, or another small item that is not edible.
Our Valentine’s Day party will be in our classroom from 2:00-2:45 on Friday,
Feb. 13th. You are welcome to join us for the fun!
If you have not
done so, please send in an empty, rinsed 2 liter bottle for an upcoming
project!
Here is the encore
schedule. Please make sure your child
wears tennis shoes on PE days. Fridays
will be a rotation that includes PE along with music or art.
