We are so proud of our first graders that participated in the science fair!  Super Science Job!  All students got to leave positive comments online as well.  What fun!

Here is the encore schedule.  Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on PE days.  Fridays will be a rotation that includes PE along with music or art.

This week in language arts, we will…

·       Visualize while reading

·       Predict the end of stories

·       Continue writing small moments

·       Discover new vocabulary through a weekly read aloud

·       Sort our spelling words and discover the patterns

·       Work on IStation while in computer lab.  We encourage children to take advantage of the program at home as well!

This week in math, we will…

·       Skip count

·       Review adding strategies

·       Solve problems of the day independently, then as a class

·       Participate in our math stations

·       Work on Reflex Math and First in Math while in computer lab

In Social Studies, we’ll learn about different Christmas traditions.
