Week of August 25

First week of first grade!  We are so excited about this week!  We’ll be getting to know each other and going over the routines in first grade. 

We will be having early dismissal at 11:00 so that we can get our reading assessments completed.  This gives us a good picture where your child is in his/her reading so that we can start at just the right place! 

We’ll also be having snack…  One of the best parts of the day!  Please make sure it’s healthy and nut-free.

If your child arrives earlier than 7:45, please send them to the gym.  Thanks so much!

Here is the encore schedule.  Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on PE days.  Fridays will be a rotation that includes PE along with music or art.  (This Friday will only have one class due to the shortened schedule.)
