In Language Arts this week, we will…
·        Begin our poetry unit
·        Use context clues
·        Learn about adverbs
·        Build our vocabulary with a weekly read-aloud.
·        Visiting computer lab to work on computer program “Imagination Station”, a differentiated program that reinforces reading skills

In Math, we will…
·        Look for geometric figures in real life
·        Compare and contrast shapes
·        Use geoboards to create geometric designs
·        Combine geometric figures to make new ones
·        Continue to solve our problems of the day.  We use “CUBES” strategies.  (Circle the numbers, Underline key words, Box the question, Ex out extra information, and Show our work)
