Week of Feb. 10th
On Friday, the students enjoyed a
“Day of Drumming!” Ask your first grader
about it!
The Six Flags Reading Program allows students who log 6 hours of
recreational reading to receive a free Six Flags ticket that is good for summer
admission to Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. The reading logs are due
back to homeroom teachers on Thursday, February 27, 2014. To learn more

Valentine’s Day parties are
this Friday at 2:00. You are welcome to
join us! Make sure kiddos bring bag or
box on Thursday or Friday. Class lists
were sent home. Make sure each child has
a valentine. You are free to send
nut-free treats as well.

will also be able to visit “First in Math” at some point this week.
In Social Studies, we will continue
researching famous people that have contributed to our society for our
biography unit. The children will present what they have learned.
For Science, we will be learning about clouds
and weather…
