Week of Feb. 10th

On Friday, the students enjoyed a “Day of Drumming!”  Ask your first grader about it!

The Six Flags Reading Program allows students who log 6 hours of recreational reading to receive a free Six Flags ticket that is good for summer admission to Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.  The reading logs are due back to homeroom teachers on Thursday, February 27, 2014.  To learn more about the program or get an extra copy of the reading log, visit:

Valentine’s Day parties are this Friday at 2:00.  You are welcome to join us!  Make sure kiddos bring bag or box on Thursday or Friday.  Class lists were sent home.  Make sure each child has a valentine.  You are free to send nut-free treats as well.
