Can your child tie his/her shoes?  If not, NOW is the time to teach your kiddo!!!  Thank you from your first grade teachers. 

Here is the encore schedule.  Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on PE days.  Fridays will be a rotation that includes PE along with music or art.

·       Retell with detail and time words

·       Work with partners to peer edit

·       Use periods when needed

·       Reread our stories so they make sense

·       Discover new vocabulary through a weekly read aloud

·       Sort our spelling words and discover the patterns

This week in math, we will…

·       Model putting together or joining

·       Add zero

·       Add in any order

·       Solve problems of the day independently, then as a class

·       Participate in our math stations

In Science, we’ll learn about weather.
