Week of April 22
Do you know what this is?  It’s a “nest” of baby praying mantisses!  Each first grade class has one.  We are watching and waiting for their arrival.  Stay tuned!
Our field trip will be April 24th!  We will be visiting Fort Worth Museum of Science and Nature.
This Monday, the 22nd is Earth Day!  The whole school will celebrate it by releasing ladybugs!  Each child will have one to return to nature.  Did you know that ladybugs are helpful to the environment?
This year Talent Days will be May 20-23 (date has changed). Each class will have their own Talent Day during their normal music time. The entire grade level will meet in the gym to be a part of the audience each day. After the performances are over, Art, Music and PE classes will resume.
April 23rd and 24th will be STAAR testing days for 3rd and 4th grade.  The campus will be closed. (no visitors on those days)
