Week of March 30
OUES is a closed campus on March 30th and 31st due to STAAR testing. Visitor are not allowed on testing days.  Thank you for your understanding.
Here is the encore schedule.  Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on PE days.  Fridays will be a rotation that includes PE along with music or art.

This week in language arts, we will…
·      Edit and revise for publication
·      Celebrate our stories
·      Continue to retell
·      Discover new vocabulary through a weekly read aloud
·      Categorize words to learn spelling patterns
·      Practice using proper capitalization and punctuation on paragraphs that have none.
·      Work on IStation while in computer lab.  We encourage children to take advantage of the program at home as well!

This week in math, we will…
·      Separate shapes into four equal shares
·      Create kite fractions
·      Solve problems of the day independently, then as a class
·      Participate in our math stations
·      Work on Reflex Math and First in Math while in computer lab

In Science, we’ll learn about heat, light and sound.
